The digital marketing world keeps on evolving. 2021 has revealed several key factors that if you're not using them in your marketing, it may put you at a disadvantage vs. your competitors. Here are two you can use:

1. Video is a Must.Video is the fastest growing form of content. Research shows that we absorb visuals like images, illustrations, and video better than written content and find it easier to watch a short video than read a long article. According to research, 84% of people have been convinced to buy a product or service after watching a brand’s video. Look at the ways you can incorporate video marketing into your business, whether showcasing a brand or product, or sharing what makes your company unique.Remember - today's videos don't have to be fancy; depending on your company and its service, simple 'native' videos often work the best.

2. Nostalgia marketing: This might surprise you. We all know strong emotions motivate people to respond. And advertising that brings up feelings of nostalgia can be very powerful. Especially during the holidays, but also around time periods, fashion, music and beyond - and people are likely to spend more as a result. Here's the kicker. Feeling nostalgic can occur in people who like a particular decade - even if they were too young to remember it or weren’t born yet. Think Retro!
