Host and SBDC director, Kelly Bearden will be joined by recently retired long-time local banker Bill Jeffries to reflect on current lending trends in Kern County and beyond. Jeffries will discuss key items for small businesses to keep in mind when seeking funding, and resources to help owners with the process.

Additional topics include discussion of our regional small business climate and updates on the expanded Employee Retention Tax Credit, Paycheck Protection Program [PPP] forgiveness, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program [EIDL] and more.

Questions from attendees will be taken.

This marks the 72nd in the weekly “Webinar Wednesday” series that provides reopening and current pandemic relief updates on available federal, state, and local funding options, tax credit programs, employee programs, and other opportunities helpful to employers and business owners.

The SBDC is open for free one-on-one consulting to help small business owners. New and existing businesses can sign up for assistance by clicking here.
