About this Event

The Monterey Bay Procurement Technical Assistance Center (MBPTAC) in collaboration with CalCoastal SBDC is pleased to present a webinar titled “Procurement Policies and Procedures” on Thursday, August 20, at 10 am.

In the government marketplace, one of the 7 criteria public agencies use to evaluate a company is their management and controls, and that includes how the company spends the contract funds. Though the basic principles are the same, the webinar will differentiate between small business procedures and large business procedures. Some large businesses are subject to a “Contractor Procurement System Review” which typically includes their “Small Business Utilization Plan” and small businesses are expected to buy from other smalls as much as possible. We will examine how they are relevant in the proposal process.

All participants will recieve a link to join the webinar on Wednesday, August 19.

This will be hosted in Zoom.
